Gastronaut is a two season, single-narrator science fiction audio drama about food, people, and conflict in a future where mankind has colonized planets beyond the solar system. The podcast speculates on how human civilization adapts culture and cuisine out among the stars, between reviews of pyrophoric mushroom dumplings and interviews with starbound strangers.

From Gastronaut's start in 2021, I served as the show's lead writer and producer. My duties included team coordination, research, scriptwriting, and revising scripts alongside my editor. Once we completed the series in November of 2023, I had written a total of 21 scripts, averaging 50 minutes each. Through its detailed worldbuilding and memorable characters, Gastronaut shows my ability to tell a story that has drawn in listeners from around the world.
